You ain’t kidding. Modern cars are so fast i t’s silly.  A turbo Honda Accord will embarrass most sports cars from the 80s.  Have a good one.

In Australia those stereotypes don’t really exist. Nobody has a ‘Vette but everyone knows what they are.

Or only use one foot on the accelerator. When you can break them loose at highway speed, that can become problematic. I think inexperienced driver’s put their foot down and forget to lift it or lift it too abruptly and they’ve already got some momentum and it gets real messy. Others buy such a car and later discover that the tires are $400 apiece and a front brake job costs $2,000 and they’re like, "Dang .”

Tires are part of the reason I stopped considering a viper. $1200 for just the rear tires is a bit too much...

I test drove a 94, it wasn’t that bad.
